Our beautiful 25m Dutch barge "The Fairhaven" is available for 1/2 share or rental now.

As family/work/finance/visa issues restrict us to 90 days each year, we are actively seeking a partner to share our barge for the other 90-120 days of a season. We have had partners for the last 8 years and find it works well. We are seeking either full ownership of a half share, or a rental arrangement. We are however prepared to consider just a rental for 1 month or more. 

She is wintering at Auxonne on the Saone river for 2024/25.

 2 x double rooms, Master King bed walkaround and desk, 2nd cabin double bed with foot and side walk around. 

 Large Bathroom with full shower, normal flushing toilet, new 2023 Indesit Front loader washing machine

New electric kitchen 2023, full size fridge/dishwasher,  induction cooktop, built in microwave and pyrolytic oven. 

New LiFePO4 20kwH battery in 2021, 1kw Solar, 14kw 3Phase Generator. Quattro 5000 Inverter for 5kw loads.

The Fairhaven is a tjalk style original Dutch barge built 1914. Her ESTRIN was renewed in 2021 for another 7 years.

For cruising an ICC is required plus 1 crew member who doesnt need any qualification. 

For a full 1/2 share we are asking E75,000 but will consider offers for rental options too.  Rental rates range from E8,300 for 4 weeks to E15,600 for 12 weeks .
